Building quality custom homes and renovations for over 35 years, Arnie Bauman, founder and owner of A. Bauman Construction Ltd., established the company in 1989.  

 

Arnie began his career in the construction industry directly upon graduating from high school. After completing his apprenticeship, he moved to Peterborough and began working for a custom home builder in Millbrook, ON. During the 5 years that Arnie worked for this local builder (3 years as a partner), he furthered his experience in the home building industry. In 1989, Arnie made the decision to start his own business.

Widely known for his attention to detail and quality, Arnie specialized in building custom homes, additions and renovations. Arnie works with clients from the concept and design stage through to completion. He is a “hands-on” contractor who takes pride in what he builds and works at each job site to ensure that the quality of work and customer satisfaction are second to none. Part of the key to his success is the team of skilled trades and carpenters on his team. The enjoyment of creating beautiful spaces is reflected in both the positive attitude of Arnie and his professionalism.

Since it was established, A. Bauman Construction Ltd. built a successful business entirely through the recommendations of clients, real estate agents, home designers and many others who have taken notice of his quality workmanship. A testament to this quality workmanship is that many customers have chosen A. Bauman Construction repeatedly.

 

As of June 2026, A. Bauman Construction will focus on select renovation or addition projects and is no longer undertaking new home builds. You can be guaranteed that Arnie will approach any building project with honesty, integrity, attention to detail and hard work.​
